Currently, we are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance companies directly. However, we can provide you with a detailed receipt (often called a "superbill") that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend you contact your insurance provider beforehand to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Beginning January 2026, we will be accepting the following insurance:

  • LA Care
  • Magellan
  • Cal Optima
  • Anthem
  • Blue Shield
  • Cigna

To schedule an appointment, please enter your information under the "Contact Us" section appearing throughout the web site, and a clinician will reach out to you.

Our individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long. This duration is known as the "therapeutic hour" and is designed to provide enough time for meaningful work without becoming overly draining. Couples and family sessions may be longer to accommodate everyone's perspective and needs.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to ensure that we can serve all our clients effectively, we require at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee, which is half the session rate. This policy allows us to offer the time slot to another client who may be on our waiting list.

Via telehealth, we serve clients throughout California.

No, as psychologists and therapists, we are not licensed to prescribe medication. However, we can work collaboratively with your primary care physician or a psychiatrist to ensure you receive comprehensive care.

Your first session is primarily an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your personal history, and your goals for our work together. This is a collaborative process, and we want to ensure you feel comfortable and understood. The first session is also a great time for you to ask any questions you have about our approach or the therapeutic process.

Progress in therapy is often a gradual and personal experience. While some clients feel a sense of relief after just a few sessions, others may notice changes more subtly over time. We will regularly check in on your progress, evaluate your goals, and discuss any changes you've noticed in your mood, relationships, or ability to cope with challenges. Consistent attendance and an open dialogue are key indicators of progress.

The length of therapy is unique to each individual. Some clients may find resolution for a specific issue in just a few months, while others prefer to continue therapy for longer to address deeper, more complex issues or for ongoing personal growth. We will work together to determine a pace that feels right for you and your goals.

We believe that no single approach fits everyone. We often integrate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and other approaches to provide comprehensive and effective care.

Your privacy is our top priority. Everything you share in our sessions is confidential. We will not disclose any information to anyone without your explicit written consent. The only exceptions to this rule are in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of child or elder abuse, as we are legally and ethically mandated to report this information. We will review these limits to confidentiality with you in detail during our first session.

It's completely understandable to feel hesitant if a previous therapy experience was not successful. The effectiveness of therapy is highly dependent on the relationship between you and your clinician. We encourage you to be open with us about your past experiences. We can discuss what you found unhelpful and adjust our approach to better suit your needs. Our goal is to create a therapeutic partnership where you feel genuinely supported and understood, which is the foundation for meaningful change.
